Health Promotion Program
Goals
of this Program
Enhance abilities of athletes to do training and finish
matches in Special Olympics Games, and raise their
awareness of nutrition and its impact on life cycles.
Education in Nutrition provides health experts and
other people with the chances to evaluate the nutrition
condition of athletes, and provide athletes with learning
opportunities in an interactive way through their
participation in the Special Olympics program. The
integration of nutrition evaluation and educational
activities with sports can strengthen the importance
of health on entertainment, and in the meantime, improve
the health condition of athletes. The nutrition program
is mainly held on Special Olympics Games at state
or regional level.
