Shuttle
 

 
For the convenience of family members of athletes, journalists, volunteers and staff of the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games to get to the venues in time to provide services and watch the games, the organizing committee of the Games arranges shuttle bus services among the venues.

I. Service targets
1.Family members of athletes
2.Journalists
3.Volunteers
4.Staff
5.SOI officials
6.Others with valid credentials issued by the Organizing Committee

II. Taking methods
The targeted passengers, as specified above, may take the shuttle buses for free, at the designated places of the venues and in the specified time frame, by showing their valid credentials issued by the Organizing Committee.

III. Arrangements of shuttle bus lines
1.In consideration of the distribution of the 31 venues, 18 lines of shuttle bus service, in the point-to-point way between the venues, will be arranged, with the Shanghai Stadium and the Hongkou Football Stadium as the hubs. Of these lines, one line of the shuttle buses will run among the venues (five venues) in the Songjiang District.
2.The Hongkou Football Stadium, that is, the Shanghai Gaodian Bowling Alley.
3.Specific arrangement of the shuttle bus lines
Line 1: Shanghai Stadium to Luwan Gymnasium. En route stops at: Huangpu Roller-Skating Building and Luwan Education, Culture and Sports Center.
Line 2: Shanghai Stadium to Minhang Gymnasium.
Line 3: Shanghai Stadium to Shanghai Jiaotong University Sports Arena. En route stop at: Qizhong Forest Sports City Tennis Center.
Line 4: Shanghai Stadium to East China Normal University Gymnasium. En route stops at: International Gymnastics Center and Putuo Guyuelongshan Gymnasium.
Line 5: Shanghai Stadium to Pudong Yuanshen Gymnasium. En route stops at: Pudong Baseball and Softball Park and Pudong Natatorium.
Line 6: Shanghai Stadium to Shanghai Equestrian Field.
Line 7: Shanghai Stadium to Songjiang Stadium
Line 8: Shanghai Stadium to Qingpu Aquatics Sports Center.
Line 9: Shanghai Stadium to Fengxian District Sports Center.
Line 10: Shanghai Stadium to Nanhui Sports Center.
Line 11: Shanghai Stadium to Shanghai Gaodian Bowling Alley (Hongkou Football Stadium).
Line 12: Hongkou Football Stadium to Jing’an Gymnasium. En route stop at: Zhabei Gymnasium.
Line 13: Hongkou Football Stadium to Yangpu Gymnasium. En route stop at: Fudan University Zhengda Gymnasium.
Line 14: Hongkou Football Stadium to Baochen Gymnasium.
Line 15: Hongkou Football Stadium to Jiading Gymnasium.
Line 16: Hongkou Football Stadium to Baoyang Road Dock (Chongming County).
Line 17: Songjiang Stadium to the Sunshine Soccer Field of Shanghai Sunshine Rehabilitation Center. En route stops at: Shanghai International Studies University Gymnasium, Lixin University of Commerce Gymnasium, Tianma Country Club Golf Course (the line of shuttle bus service within the Songjiang District).
Line 18: From Hongkou Football Stadium to Jiangwan Stadium.

IV. Service time and bus stops
1.Service time
(1)October 3 to October 11.
(2)8:00 to 16:00 every day.
(3)Time interval between two buses on the shuttle bus lines: 30 minutes.
(4)When a game or performance closes, the scheduled bus line or the bus stop at the competition field will be withdrawn the next day.
2.Bus stops
(1)Western square of Shanghai Stadium
(2)Square in front of Exit 1 of Hongkou Football Stadium
(3)Songjiang Stadium
3.All shuttle buses, after leaving the places of departure, must stop at the designated places, as specified, to pick up and drop passengers safely.
